 Garlic Prawns

 

GARLIC PRAWNS

Nothing beats garlic prawns eaten straight from your Lodge cast iron pan!

Serve with a loaf of crusty bread to mop up and a beautiful green salad. Simply unbeatable...


It's a quick cook, so make sure you get all your ingredients together before you start.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 400g prawns
  • 1 tsp salt & grind of pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 50ml white wine
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • 30g butter
  • Ronin Chilli (optional...but we would!!)
  • Handful parsley, chopped
  • Handful coriander, chopped


METHOD

  1. Heat pan, add oil
  2. Cook prawns, 1-2 mins, turn other side
  3. Add garlic, toss
  4. Add wine, deglaze for 1 minute
  5. Squeeze 1/2 lemon
  6. Add butter, chilli, parsley & coriander


Serve in your Lodge pan with crusty bread & leafy salad.
